Following the burgeoning trend of pet humanization, as more pet owners see their pets as (fluffy) family members, premium pet food and smart pet technology have become popular choices to upgrade pets’ life quality. 

We surveyed more than 2,000 U.S. pet owners to study shopping habits surrounding their pets, their lifestyle as pet owners, pet care brand preferences, and pet tech usage.

Purina was the most popular brand amongst pet owners in the U.S. with more than 41% choosing it as their preferred pet food brand. Amongst Purina lovers, 44% claimed that they are inclined to purchase pet tech products in the near future.
